How to update

Launcher (Onyx.exe). When a new version is released, the launcher tells you on the next start - "Onyx x.y.z is required" with a download link. Re-download it and put the new Onyx.exe in the same folder you were already using, replacing the old one, then run it - your extension folder and config stay put. (The worker code lives inside the exe, so running the old one keeps the old version.)

Extension. The launcher refreshes the extension files on every start. After it updates them, restart Chrome to load the new version - no manual reinstall.

Transfer tool. It checks for updates on launch and prompts you to download a newer mandatory build.

In short: re-download the exe when prompted, then restart Chrome.
